What to Expect at Lebanon FUMC

Worship Notes

  • Sunday worship services stream live on Facebook, YouTube, and our website. We also have sermon podcasts on our website.
  • Weekly orders of worship and children’s activities are available anytime here.
  • We may now use up to 50% of our Sanctuary capacity at a time, which equates to about 130 persons per service.
     
    Common areas, at all times
    • Continue to wear masks while entering and exiting the building, as well as in all common areas (hallways, bathrooms, etc.).
    • Continue to wash and sanitize hands often, especially when entering the building and after using restrooms.
     
    8:30 service 
    • Continue to sit in even-numbered pews only.
    • Once in your chosen seats, you may remove masks.
    • We will have no congregational singing in the Sanctuary during this service.
    • If you would prefer to attend this service but also sing along, you are invited to sit in the Fellowship Hall (where the service will be streaming) and do so with masks on at all times.
     
    11:00 service
    • Continue to sit in odd-numbered pews only.  
    • Continue to wear your masks at all times throughout the service.
    • We will have congregational singing during this service.
    • If you would prefer to attend this service but not wear a mask, you are invited to sit in the Fellowship Hall (where the service will be streaming) and do so with no congregational singing.  

Children's Programming/Nursery

  • Nursery is available during both worship services.  Families will drop off infants through 3-year-olds at the Children’s Entrance
  • We offer children’s Sunday school from 9:45-10:40 AM. 
  • For children's classes, masks will be optional for outdoor activities. Masks will be worn for indoor activities when it is not possible to maintain safe social distancing at 3' apart or more.

Sunday School / Small Groups

  • Make sure you/your family members maintain a 6-foot distance from non-household members at all times. 
  • Continue to wear masks while entering and exiting the building, as well as all common areas as you are making your way to classes.
  • Each adult class may decide as a group how to handle mask-wearing once inside the classroom.  

Community

  • Our office hours are M-Th 8 AM to 5 PM, Friday 8 AM-Noon. While we cannot open the facility to all visitors at this time, staff will be available to answer calls and questions, receive food pantry donations, take prayer requests, etc.
  • Our Food Pantry is open with curbside service M-Th 9-4 and Fri 9-11.
