A Study of Genesis beginning 1/10...

The book of Genesis contains some of the most beautiful and well known stories in the Bible: the flood, the tower of Babel, and the lives of the patriarchs...but these are more than just good stories. They are the beginning of God's relationship with humanity and God's plan for our salvation, making Genesis foundational to understanding everything else that happens in the Bible.

This 5-week study will meet on Wednesdays, 1/10-2/7 at 11Am and 6PM (child care available at 6PM only) to look at the blessing of the beginning of our story with God. Sign-up not required, only requested for book ordering and child care head count:

Lucinda S. Sutton

Lucinda S. Sutton has been a member at Lebanon FUMC since 2011. Despite her history as a self-published author, professional editor, longtime teacher/volunteer, and unabashed fangirl and blogger, many in the community still know her far better as Trinity, Micayla, and Jaden's Mom (she is mostly okay with this).  

Lucinda came to us from the United Methodist Publishing House where she had a hand in the creation, development, and editorial work for Cokesbury's 2017-2020 VBS curricula, as well as other pieces for Abingdon Press.  While her professional background also includes work in the fields of marketing, organizational management, operations, and even food service, her calling is now and has always been to serve for the betterment of church life and church work.  For all of this, she is profoundly grateful.
