Disciple-Making Teams

At Lebanon FUMC, we are intentional about making disciples through a three-part initiative of teams named Gather, Thrive, and Go.  Each team connects and overlaps as we strive to include and extend God's love to all who are in need of community, purpose, and hope.  

 

Gather

The Gather Team provides hospitality, interpersonal connections, and servant leadership to facilitate meaningful worship services and other gatherings at Lebanon FUMC. 

"And let us remember how we can spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up gathering together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another." 
- Hebrews 10:24-25

Thrive

The Thrive Team equips, energizes, and educates members and friends of Lebanon FUMC to be disciples of Christ - both as individuals and in community - through congregational care, programs, and special events for all ages.

"They will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will thrive in the courts of our God."

Following the commandment of Jesus in Matthew 28:19, the Go Team focuses on building Lebanon FUMC’s community service and outreach ministries.
